As well as our own diversification on the farm with our woolly creations, we have met some lovely local artists, crafters & spinners. We love supporting, & sharing their wonderful skills, & love of the countryside & not forgetting the adorable Herdwick sheep.

Artist – Claire Chable
Claire lives in Buxton, but trained at Bradford School of Art in the 1970’s. She moved to Derbyshire in 2015 & began to paint.
“After spending many years walking in Cumbria, visiting farming friends, I gained a respect for & love of the native Herdwick sheep”

We met Claire in 2019 through the love of Herdwick sheep, when she came to photograph the flock. From there, our friendship & passion for the Herdwicks have grown. Our flock captured through her artwork.
